HOMELAND SECURITY TRAINING PROGRAM

Terrorism Awareness

Suggested Class Duration: 2.5 – 3 Hours

Item #PR282

The Homeland Security Training Program will give your security officers an overview of their responsibilities, as well as teach them what to look for and what to do if they observe someone or something suspicious. The program also contains the Crisis Response Guide CD template, which is designed to teach your security officers what to expect in the various crisis situations. It demonstrates what they should and should not do. This template can also be used as a base to help develop crisis procedures for your clients, by converting the template into your clients site name. Some of the subjects covered are: Recognizing suspects and suspicious circumstances – How to report suspicious circumstances – Duties in catastrophic situations and Cooperating with law enforcement.

Your organization and security officers are now an intricate and important part of the homeland security efforts. All citizens have been asked to keep their eyes open for suspicious persons and situations. The security officer’s eyes must be like binoculars and be more vigilant. This Training Program uses the Terrorist Patrol  and the Crisis Response  videos to give the officer a visual overview of what terrorism is and what to do.  The Program also includes the Crisis Response Template CD to help set up a response and evacuation plan for your clients.
